Great news! Here at Mearns Library we have taken delivery of a Pop Up Museum from Aberdeenshire’s Museum Services. Aberdeenshire Council’s Museum Service cares for over 40,000 objects in their collection. We want as many people in Aberdeenshire to have access to inspiring objects in their care and that means taking the collections out into communities. Working in partnership with Aberdeenshire Libraries it is hoped that the objects will encourage discussion and debate.
The theme of our Pop Up Museum is India! A few of the exhibits are shown below.
