Local man Paul Durrand has made a pledge to raise money for a Laurencekirk children’s group by taking part in one of the UK’s most testing physical challenges, the Tough Mudder Obstacle Course.
The Laurencekirk Pre-School Group are to be the recipients of Paul’s efforts. The group rely on fundraising and donations to keep running, and Paul wants to give back to the group that has been of great benefit to his children, and will be of benefit to others.
An online donation page has been set up for anyone who wishes to contribute and can be found HERE. The first 24 hours saw an amazing £135 raised, and Paul has thanked everyone involved so far. With a target of £500 to reach, every donation, big or small, will help.
Paul’s training starts on Monday, and Tough Mudder takes place at Dalkeith Country Estate on Saturday 24th August. To see what Paul will be going through, check out the video below!
