The third annual fund raising event of its kind organised by the Dickson Hall Committee on 24th January enjoyed good support.
The soup and pudding lunch was prepared and served by volunteers and was followed by entertainment from piper Andrew Young, accordionist Bob Black and singer Annie Reid.
For the first time in Laurencekirk, entertainers “Kirrie the Fit” delivered a sample of their humorous sketches in Doric. The duo of George Wallace and Allan Thomson were a great hit with the audience, who clearly related to the characters portrayed.
