The charity Contact the Elderly has now got three drivers, three back up drivers, one guest and five hosts for the Laurencekirk area. Before we can launch a Group for this area, we need more hosts and of course more elderly guests.
If you would like to volunteer to drive on one Sunday a month or occasionally, could host a simple afternoon tea once a year, or know of someone over the age of 75, who lives on their own and doesn’t have a lot of social contact, please tel Jean on 01356660238.
Groups are usually 4-6 guests plus a couple of drivers and there is no charge. we have drivers in St. Cyrus, Laurencekirk, Marykirk and Johnshaven. If you enjoy chatting and eating cake this is for you.
