Along the High Street of Laurencekirk hangs 40 large flower baskets.
This year the baskets have been absolutely beautiful and have been admired by many.
After the planting and hanging of the baskets, they then have to be watered – all of which has been done by volunteers.
As a community we are very fortunate to have the two volunteers who regularly water them, Norman Robertson and Allan Thomson, who have done an amazing job this summer. The men are pictured below with their watering equipment.
These guys are awesome: dedicated to making sure our wee toon is blooming lovely ! THANK YOU X
Congratulations to Alan and Norman, you certainly have the magic touch as the baskets have been absolutely beautiful this summer.
Great thanks to everyone who plays a part in the flower basket project, your efforts brighten up not only Laurencekirk but all of us who live here.
