The Laurencekirk Rotary Club held a BBQ the weekend before last, the first time it has been able to get together since lockdown. With mostly sunny weather it was a great success with over 70 people attending and over a £1000 raised for local charities.
Thanks to Castleton for supplying strawberries and to Kepak McIntosh Donald for the meats, and James Brown for the venue and everyone who made it a success.
A highlight of the day was the unveiling of a mural of the Highland Games by Fettercairn artist Samantha Farquharson on a concrete grain wall.
