The fascinating story of James Taylor, the great Mearns man from Auchenblae has been told in the newly published book “Tea & Empire – James Taylor in Victorian Ceylon”.
Author Professor Angela McCarthy is holding her Mearns Book Launch on Friday 22nd September in the Dickson Hall, Laurencekirk at 2pm. Angela welcomes all interested folk to her talk, Q&A session, and book signing.
