Laurencekirk Business Club have announced that Bonfire Night is returning to Laurencekirk, starting this year. It’s been made possible with the help of local farmer John McWilliam and Savills, who have agreed the use of a field close to the health centre for the event.
The event, with a professional fireworks display from Fireworx Scotland Ltd, will take part on Saturday 2nd November.
A Bonfire Night was last held in Laurencekirk around twenty years ago.
Local businesses will be getting the chance to be involved in the Bonfire Night, by sponsoring a firework.
Also planned are a race night and a raffle with quality prizes, to help raise funds for what promises to be a fantastic community event.
