Let’s make Fathers day on Sunday June 21st a bit different this year! Rotary Clubs from Lerwick to Lands End are organising a series of sponsored cycle runs across the whole country to support – in our case Prostate Scotland.
50% of men will suffer from prostate disease, 11% will develop prostate cancer. This charity helps fund research, treatment and public education of the disease.
The Laurencekirk Cycle Runs start at the Health Centre in Blackiemuir Avenue, Laurencekirk. There are three routes from which to choose:
A 25 mile return cycle to Montrose starting at 9.00am
B. The Howe Circle, a 12 mile circuit starting at 2.00pm
C. A 2 mile route for the children around Denlethen Wood
Please contact one of the following Rotarians for registration and sponsorship details.

Now that the snow is retreating from the hills, this is a great time to get back on your bike and take part in a very worthwhile event. This could be a Fathers Day to remember!
