The Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month at the Panmure Arms Hotel, Edzell with a two month break in July and August.

We are a small, friendly group of women of varied ages who meet for approximately two hours.  We enjoy a two-course meal with tea or coffee and have a variety of interesting speakers, arranged by our highly organised Syllabus Secretary.  Our Club aims are friendship and service which has included raising funds for local charities such as the Laurencekirk Christmas Lights, Laurencekirk Hanging Baskets and Foodbank. We have also donated to the Patient Comfort Fund at Arduthie Ward of Kincardine Community Hospital, the Chest, Heart and Stroke Unit at Stracathro Hospital, the Brechin Flood Appeal and internationally we have donated to Eastern Europe Aid and Water Aid. Our fund-raising Co-Ordinator keeps us well supplied with patterns for knitting blankets which are despatched far and wide.  Our President and Secretary ensure the smooth running of the Club with  excellent communication and transport arrangements if required.

Our September meeting kicked off the new season and saw Laurencekirk and District Rotary Club President, Albert Donald, give a presentation on past and planned Rotary activities which included a successful Duck Race, BBQ and attendance at various local events including Mearns Academy Summer Fayre, Drumtochty Games, Fettercairn Show and Laurencekirk Gala.  Albert also hinted at the possibility of a community fireworks display bonfire.  Look out for further information on this.

We would welcome new members and contact details can be found on the poster below.
