Laurencekirk Ladies Social Club have presented St Laurence Masonic Lodge with 5 new tables bought with funds raised at a Jubilee Dance held as part of the 2012 Jubilee Celebrations. The tables, for use in the newly refurbished Masonic Hall, will benefit many of the community fund-raising Coffee Mornings and functions which are held there.
Mr Ian Greig, on behalf of the Masonic Lodge, thanked the Ladies Club for their generous donation, reiterating the benefit it would make to community and to all who use the Hall, a preferred venue due to its central location in the village.
The Ladies Club had also donated £200 from the funds to Laurencekirk Christmas Lights and £100 to Stonehaven Maritime Rescue Institute.
