Last night’s Council Election Hustings arranged by The Laurencekirk Development Trust (LDT) in the St Laurence Hall, Laurencekirk attracted seven of the eight candidates standing in Aberdeenshire’s ward 19.
The meeting was chaired by Jim Stuart, the chairman of the Trust.
It attracted an enthusiastic audience who maintained a lively barrage of questions on council functions and the roll of Councillors in delivering an effective services to residents.
