As the gardening season gets into full swing the Mearns and Coastal Healthy Living Network garden group have been busy maintaining the planters at Laurencekirk train station and also working with Johnshaven School in their school garden.
The group have also been busy at Benholm Mill upkeeping the cottage garden behind the tearoom, and also planting up a raised bed vegetable garden.
The group enables socialisation, gentle activity by community gardening activities, and intergenerational working, and is for people aged over 60 years living in the Mearns and coastal areas – (with or without any gardening experience!).
