The Mearns Connections Ballad Bus will be touring castles of the Mearns on Saturday 8th August, leaving the Grassic Gibbon Centre in Arbuthnott at 10.30am. Jim Brown MBE will lead the event, with musicians providing music and song en route.
This is a a very popular event and it is advised that tickets, £10 each, should be booked from 01561 361668/ 377501.
The bus will be picking up from Edzell 9.45am at Bells Butcher; Fettercairn 10am, Ramsay Arms Hotel; Laurencekirk 10.15am, Masonic Hall. There will be a break for lunch at Balmakewan and the tour will finish at the Grassic Gibbon Centre around 3pm.
